Irishman charged with killing two people in food allergy attack
Two people have died and one person has been charged after an attack on two people at a shopping centre in Dublin’s west.
The man, aged in his 50s, was charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
A woman and a man were injured in the incident.The gardaí were called to the St Mary’s Shopping Centre in Co Wicklow around 4pm on Sunday.
They found a woman in a state of shock and a woman suffering from shock after the attack.
She was taken to a hospital where she later died.
The other person, aged 50, was treated and released from hospital.
Gardaí have said the man was known to the victim and his partner, and they are appealing for witnesses.
